Microsoftは3月21日、2月から提供しているチャットbot「新しいBing」に画像生成機能を追加した。
OpenAIが開発したAI「DALL・E」をエンジンとして、生成したい内容をチャットで指示すれば画像化して提示する。
Webブラウザ「Edge」のサイドバーにある「Bing Image Creator」アイコンをクリックするか、チャット（クリエイティブモード）から英語で呼び出すことで利用できる。
有害な画像を生成しようとすると、指示をブロックしてユーザーに警告する保護機能も搭載。Bing Image Creatorで生成したことが分かるよう、生成した画像にはBingアイコンを付与する。
まずは新しいBingのプレビューに参加しているユーザーに向けて公開。不参加のユーザーも専用ページで画像生成を体験できる。
そこで記者が早速試した。

次は日本人女性、悪くはないが違和感は拭えず目がおかしい。
