ガールズグループ「TWICE」のチェヨン（23歳）が22日、自身のInstagramで問題のTシャツを着用したことに関して謝罪しました。
チェヨンが投稿したインスタグラムには、鍵十字がデザインされたTシャツを着ている写真があり、それがナチスのシンボルとされるため、批判が相次いでいました。
チェヨンは謝罪文を韓国語と英語で投稿し、「こんにちは、チェヨンです。インスタグラムの投稿について心からお詫び申し上げます。私はそのシャツにあるマークの意味を正確に理解していませんでした。より注意深くチェックすべきだったにもかかわらず、確認できず多くの方々に傷つけてしまったことを深くお詫び申し上げます。今後は同様の問題が二度と起こらないよう、十分に注意を払います。申し訳ありませんでした」とコメントしています。
チェヨンの謝罪を受け、
「画像検索で見つけたTシャツは、ピストルズのシドビシャスがプリントされたもので、彼女が非難されるのは気の毒だと思う」
「ファッションの好き嫌いは人それぞれで、着ている人の意図を理解して批判するべきではない。謝罪が必要か疑問に思う」
「何でも問題視して叩く流れが理解できない。何とかならないのか？」
「彼女が日頃からナチスに関わる発言をしているわけではない。ファッションで着ているのは明らか。攻撃してくる人たちこそ問題だと思う」
「昔、原爆Tシャツを着ていたBTSも叩かれて謝罪していた。悪意が日本に向けられたものか海外に向けられたものかで対応が違うのか？」
などファンからは彼女を擁護しサポートするコメントが寄せられている。
