侍ジャパンが今回のWBCで対戦してきた投手と比べても、サンドバルは一段階も二段階も上の存在だ。2009年以来の優勝を目指すためには、まず彼を攻略する必要がある。準々決勝まで順調だった侍ジャパン打線が、この試合で真価が試される。
